Navigating the World of Embedded Systems: A Developer’s Journey

Exploring Embedded Systems and Entrepreneurship

As an embedded systems developer and AI enthusiast, I’ve often found that the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship opens a world of possibilities. The rapid advancements in automotive electronics are reshaping how we think about hardware engineering. My personal journey has equipped me with unique insights and experiences that I believe can inspire others in our evolving field.

Technical Insight: Automotive Electronics

In recent years, the automotive sector has embraced embedded systems to enhance vehicle functionality. From advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to autonomous vehicles, the applications are vast. By diving deep into these technologies, developers not only augment their technical skills but also discover niches ready for innovation. These opportunities are ripe for entrepreneurs willing to explore uncharted territories in hardware and software integration.

Personal Reflections and Career Growth

Reflecting on my career, I realize the importance of continuous learning and adaptation. Engaging with projects outside my comfort zone has propelled my growth as a developer. Sharing these experiences through a personal blog can create a supportive community, fostering discussions on career advancements and entrepreneurship in the tech realm. It’s essential to cultivate a space where we can learn from each other and promote our shared passion for embedded systems.

What does working with you on a project look like?
Every project starts with understanding your goal, your users and your constraints. From there I handle design, development and delivery myself - whether that is a website, a PCB or the firmware in between - and keep you involved at each milestone.
Mostly small businesses, founders and startups. I like projects where I can work directly with the person behind the idea and move fast, without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Yes. Alongside web and software work I design custom electronics and embedded systems - PCBs, IoT devices and ESP32/STM32 firmware - from a first prototype to production-ready hardware.
On the web: WordPress and custom code, with WooCommerce and Stripe for e-commerce. On hardware: schematic and PCB design, ESP32 and STM32 firmware, SPI/I2C interfacing, and lab-grade validation.
Yes. I stay involved after launch for updates, fixes and improvements - and for hardware, for revisions and scaling to production. You will not be left on your own.
